It's not too late to brine your turkey. Saltwater (should taste like the ocean), mace, allspice, nutmeg, peppercorns, cloves. You won't regret it. Hit me up if you want more pointers. Am chef.
More pointers: different parts of the turkey cook to different times. If you wanna knock it out of the park, carve it first. Then brine it. Then cook the parts separately. You can still use the carcass for stuffing.

Poltergeist. 80’s horror flick. But I didn’t steal the idea. I have some old maps superimposed over new maps showing the old lay of the land (my wife is a geologist and can do some cool things with GIS). However, not wanting to flat out dox myself, I will refrain from posting the maps. My street address alone may be enough information once paired up with the burial mound and cemetery info.
I do agree about exhumations though. Very odd and disrespectful to make ones final resting place into a temporary resting place. Conversely I get the reuse of land that has basically gone fallow

Spatchcock is great, but I prefer butchering before cooking. If you want to get really into it... brine it, spatchcock, then steam it on very, very low heat... then carve and "cook to order."
