People complain about how there are too many memes and misc. posts, which distracts from the election fraud... and others say that the memes are just as important as well. Why not just add this, so we can have a sub for Trump memes and a sub for election fraud (among other topics), instead of just mixing it all together? It’s a win both ways. Less posts will die in new as well, because the less upvoted posts will be easier to find if sorted in separate sections. Mods, I hope you will consider adding this.
I keep asking for this. It's really about time. And not even just for politics.
u/Doggos I love you man (nohomo) but you gotta do this. Beyond the politics here this is a good community to expand to other topics. I don't want to talk to redditors about tech, I want to talk to 'pedes. Let us all rule the net, it's time to take over reddit's niche.

Agreed. I prefer moderating myself for the exact same reason as why we all had reddit default moderators. Trolls (at least the old school AOL chat room types) always made the best moderators because we didn't give a fuck about peoples whiny egos, we wanted hilarious and interesting things to read.

I agree I like the way Arstechnica sets up its board but I understand that isnt the format they want to use here.... would be nice to have a sub for straight news articles... leave the memes and or nonnews posts for a mega thread.

Good idea, but a better idea is to get rid of the duplication. There's so much duplication of posts! That would leave room for memes and election fraud and other things.
This is a party. You mingle here mingle over there. Participate in two or three conversations at the same time. Sometime you stand on a table and yell across the room to a friend.
The current format works. We just broke into 400. Soon we will be bigger then Spezzit.
