With prayer comes teaching by example, too. Stay in touch with your loved ones who have gone astray. Pray for them. Sacrifices both voluntary and involuntary are also prayer.
When the time comes and loved ones have a change of heart, a little nudge by a kind word will tip the scales.
This actually made me cry. I wish my son would open his heart to Jesus like this.
