They had 1.4b at the end of Q1. Solid debt to income ratios. Good market exposure. They slashed overhead during the “pandemic.” They have more than enough liquidity to get through this year and next. In fact they’re in a better position than most retail stores.

These brick and mortar stores will keep shrinking in numbers.
They have turned into browsing stores, where you look at nice things in person, check out the features and quality, try on the right size, and then order online for 30% less.

That’s strange. Me and my four kids walked around and shopped at Nordstrom lately without masks and they didn’t say anything. In fact, when I realized and asked the sales person he said “our policy is not to enforce mask wearing, we understand sometimes people can’t wear one.” That was before this new round of shutdowns. Maybe policy changed.
This was on Election Day, before our state’s recent clampdown. It was the hat. I also had an insane woman run up to me in the mall and say” congrats the pandemic is over “ I said ha, yes, the election tonight, right ? Flipped out on me. Was a weird day. Commies were extra agitated.
I called customer service , they had me on hold for ten minutes to find out the policy. Strange they don’t have that handy.

When asked why I just wouldn’t put them in masks I said to none of your business , but it’s for medical reasons, physical and psychological. It was a very weird discussion. I was trying to leave and the Manager kept engaging me in conversation. Accusing me of debating him about the virus. He was triggered when he could sense I wasn’t terrified about the virus.

Employee said my mask didn’t look good enough but I could stay for a few minutes , that would be okay. People Jsut making shit up as they go.
