Yeah, doesn’t sound right that it would be typed out, printed, rescanned as PDF, then converted to a secondary PDF via Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Only scenario I guess would be if it was printed for signatures/signing, scanned back to PDF, then, so the text is searchable, exported out as a character-recognized PDF. I’m just thinking there’s typos, this was filed in a very short amount of time.

Wouldn't the document be all typed out anyways? Why would they need to rescan it, instead of just copying it or uploading the originals?

It's actually a result of CourtListener scraping from PACER, which then they turn it into a PDF.
