So, I've been out of the service for umm...many years now, so forgive me if I have this wrong. But, as an active duty service member, can't you register to vote in ANY state you want, and claim ANY state you want as your state of residence?
If the answer is still Yes, as I remember it was, are there any protocols in place to prevent a bad actor from using somebody information to register to vote in several states in the same election? The states don't share information between them, right? Can't a bad actor just use somebody's info to request absentee in every swing state, for example?
