If hundreds of thousands of ballots are discarded because of the corruption and incompetence of both the governor and secretary of state, do I not have some legal recourse to inflict punitive damage up to and including, say, impeachment?

I’ve already called several state reps and emailed the speaker of the state house. I will expand my target area in accordance with your directive

Send written letters, certified mail, return/receipt requested. I always follow up all emails like that when dealing with my state asshats, especially about my vote. Much harder for them to make the paper trail disappear if a lawsuit ever happens.

Yep, I always start with an email, but when I am dealing with governments or doing anything official it gets followed by registered mail, return/receipt requested that references the email and requests a written reply. Governments are semi domesticated beasts at the best of times, and paper is their favorite food.
