Now, if this were for a medicine for gay men, a political ad, an ad about diversity, fine. The purpose of advertising is to convince as many viewers as possible to buy your product, and that should be the AVERAGE (most populous version of a family) with kids in in this case... or maybe a single guy after a workout, maybe a doctor eating it on her break to show that it's healthy. Etc
