Lack of science education is killing this country (well, it's one of many things). You CAN'T "beat a virus" , and there has never been a successful vaccine created for a corona virus. All you can do is take reasonable precautions (and masks are NOT reasonable, save for someone who is actually ill perhaps) , washing hands is the best preventive, along with giving thanks to God that viruses tend to mutate into milder strains. As covid has already done, which is why the CDC says that for most of us, it's got a 99.8% survival rate, and even elderly fatasses with a comorbidity or three have a 95% likelihood of surviving.
