On a similar note I'm pretty disheartened by the state of this country as a whole.
I'm disheartened by the media propaganda corporations, big tech, our school system, and the deep state, all these lefty run and controlled organizations.
The media especially, controls everyone. The overton window has shifted further and further left during my entire lifetime.
I just don't see a way out of this until it degenerates into either a 1984-like acquiescence or just outright civil war.
Trump is a glimmer of hope, but I've always described him as a stop gap, not a solution. This election and really his entire presidency has made it seem like I'm no where close, not even in the same world, as lefties. Like there's nothing common any more, no cohesion that keeps us together.
