You should explain How is it nepotism.

Don Jr can't just "assume" an office. He has to be elected by the people.

Name recognition does not equal nepotism.

so, you think Newsome being governor of CA is NOT nepotism?

and he was elected too...

you think the fact that Don Jr is a Trump is irrelevent?

No, Newsom is a major scumbag but if he was ELECTED it is not nepotism.

Don Jr being Trump's son is highly relevant of course, never said it wasn't, it's just not nepotism.

GWB should be hung for his treasonous crimes against America, but him being president after his father was not nepotism.

Nepotism would be if someone was given a job or position by a family member based on nothing but being family. That is not the case if you have to go out there and campaign for people to vote for you. Don Jr being a Trump is a great advantage, just not nepotism since he would have to go out and earn the votes from the people himself.

so, trading on a name (Hunter Biden for example) is not nepotism?

in my books, it's pretty much text-book definition

Hunter wasn't "trading on a name", he was selling his fathers office/influence and was the bagman for a criminal spree headed by Joe Biden. Not nepotism, but something much much worse.

If Don Jr ever ran it would also not be "trading on a name" either. He would be running on his father's legacy.

Your book is way off on nepotism.
