If they actual did reporting, they would have stated how many actually got ill and how many required hospitalization. Positive test results are meaningless without context. If we tested for flu like we do Covid, there would be probably 300 million + "cases" of flu just in the US. This is all so absurd. For Covid, cases are only positive test results. Most of those "cases" are people with no symptoms and who require no treatment. Since this is the new metric, the only numbers to pay attention to are hospitalzations & deaths. Case numbers are absolutely worthless.

Well useless for the manner that they are being used no doubt. The test wasn't meant to be used in the manner we are using it, the man who invented it has said so over and over again. He specifically stated that using it as a diagnostic tool was not why he made it...

However you look at it, “infection” is not illness. Our paradigm of epidemiological theory is borderline pseudoscience. Beyond outdated and lacking scientific rigor. If you are infested in exploring a new perspective check this out https://youtu.be/KGIzWjjkpNk

Thanks for the link, I will check it out. I am appalled at how the medical community has just allowed so much freaking misinformation to come out in relation to this virus. I understand the fear many had at first and the overabundance of caution but we literally threw out everything we knew about viruses when it came to this one and pretended we needed to relearn everything. I found it particularly telling when a "study" came out about sunshine & vitamin D in relation to Covid. We have known about this for a hundred years. Anyways it is a pet peeve and just so shocked that medicine has become political and unscientific.
