If you've ever wondered why foreigners tend to use guns as an insult towards Americans, calling them school shooters etc.
It's because foreigners have no clue how government works, these people were not raised to be patriotic they were raised be mindless sheep. They have no idea what the differences are when it comes to the Political spectrum.
These people have been brainwashed to believe the government could never turn against their people, they truly believe this. I am not American I am Australian and when you warn people of the future they say things like "I'll worry about it when the time comes"
So when a foreigner tries to use guns as an insult against you, just remember that they are the aftermath of the machine indoctrinating them for decades, they believe everyone in government has the interests of the people in mind.
They are taught to hate America (Constantly showing American violence on TV) when in reality, they are hating on themselves.
Another important point to bring up to such clueless foreigners. Guns are a means of security, and they are also a means for standoff.
Up to the point before the shooting starts there is plenty of time an distance for both sides to stand down, and a mob does not have absolute superiority of force on an individual. So having that right of self defense that centers around firearms and distance is a good thing. Because the alternative would be machetes.
