I have really enjoyed their reporting but, never knew who owned them. Turns out they're falun gon worshippers who were persecuted by China. They came here as refuges and have been attacked by the CCP multiple times.
They're not Falun Gong worshippers, they're the Falun Gong. The Epoch Times is owned by the same guy who founded the religion, and the Epoch Times, along with their performance arts group Shen Yun, exist to distribute Falun Gong viewpoints to the west (they are over here now because the CCP keeps kidnapping them for organ harvesting)
The Falun Gong are against the CCP and pro-Trump because of this. They are, however, in this for their own gain, so don't treat them as someone you can trust wholeheartedly.
