I think they went down when they saw SCOTUS side against the states.

That maybe possible, but I think they realize SCOTUS is going to hear one of two things- “equal protection” clause, stating mailing in ballots vs. ID and showing up in person to vote with all verified, doesn’t hold the same weight for each ballot. Mail in- not secure.
Or- the governors, not the legislatures made the order, not law, without the state legislature. Again illegal to even order mail in ballots.
In turn I think the hearing yesterday against the states invalidated governors orders. Against “Assembly” voting is a form of assembly. Invalidating the governors mail in order. So my guess is no matter how scotus views it the mail in ballots will be considered invalid. Should be great for POTUS. That’s what the presidents team is working on. Lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of the election. Powell is working on the criminal portion. Although she is not a direct federal prosecutor. That part is a bit messy for me.
My bets settle dates have slid 5 times and now sits at December 14th.
