Everything Trump did can easily be undo. Trump's legacy is on the line if he doesn't eliminate 95% of the federal government. Not just the people, but eliminating 95% of departments and agencies.
True, people somehow think 80+ years of Swamp can be reversed in less than 4 years. They get all impatient - it understandable but sadly laughable.
The Executive Orders were a start - the dismantling of the Deep State, also known as Draining the Swamp - an absolutely necessary step in order for the whole process to be successful in the longer term.
This has always been the case, and would not be a surprise to anyone - certainly not to POTUS or his core advisers.
This is also why some believe there has been an actual plan all along. I choose to think there is a plan - otherwise we are fucked. I don't think we are fucked because I think POTUS is a smart bastard.
