This is a common response from low infos , they REALLY resist learning , I find the slow drip method works better on these types because they are not capable of ingesting whole bits of info , took me 5 years to break through to my sister ( BLM riots in her town really helped me )

It is the indoctrination of our "great" educational system. Usually, it takes a big person to admit his/her mistake because what he/she learned contradicts all the beliefs they have. They will be denied at first, but if you keep trying, then his/her intellectual honesty will overcome the embedded biases. Sometimes, try to ask him/her a fundamental question: Why do you dislike our Pres? I can guarantee you he/she will respond to the typical "answers," then you do a follow-up question by asking him/her to give a specific example. He/she can, then you suggest why don't you and do some research to find out. If he/she can't, then provide some suggestions.
