Kubrick was a master mind with occult imagery and using it in a way to wake people up. I watched eyes wide shut when I was about 12. I didn't understand the movie much then but for some reason it intrigued me and I knew there was something more to it. I didn't even find the movie entertaining, just bizarre. I get the same vibes from a lot of John Milius films.
