To be fair, that unit is a Oculus CV1, the Facebook requirement and strict terms of service only began with the new Oculus CV2. If you read the terms for the new CV2 its mental and disgusting. People have already been banned from using their headsets. A class action lawsuit is to come. They'll brick your headset, and you cant play the games you purchased.
All kinds of things. For instance, you need a verified FB account to use the vr headset. Now, you post on your FB something political, get banned, bam, you now own an expensive paperweight. I think the lawsuit will be for false advertising a product that you technically dont own the operation of.
