I think it's fun. But our smarter than Iran enemies like bread crumbs placed that say IRAN. I don't buy into middle ratsnest wars. Sorry

I get it. I also know Trump is smarter than past presidents and wouldn't use it as an excuse to escalate to physical war with Iran. Smarter play is to go after the Americans conspiring with them if it proves true.

We need to fix our election security, keep strong sanctions up, and bring the troops HOME.

I had thought Iran may be involved because for one they hate us, secondly when coronavirus came out they had a "Huge wave" and were supposedly BURNING people to death to stop the spread..then they just stopped having any issues. Just like China.

I looked their their explanation. They did a basic internet ip scan to determine that. Its the same weak evidence the left used to accuse Trump tower of talkimg to avrussian server. This may be the weakest "evidence" they have. I would hope they focus on other areas.

That's true. It wouldn't shock me if it was Israel hiding behind an Iranian IP. Need to he careful with stuff like that.

Yep. Seems like more sabre rattling to try and get us to take care of their turf wars for them as usual. They've been at this for Trump's whole term trying to start shit. We shouldn't take the bait.

I'd say even longer than that. Seems like they had a hand in 9/11, and going back even further to the USS Liberty and the Lavon Affair.

With Netanyahu congratulating Biden too, I wouldn't be surprised if they were in on the coup. It's a win/win for them, Biden wins and they get their way - Trump wins and Iran get punished.

Idk man, I see this conflict happening on multiple fronts. Not only the obvious ones like political and cultural fronts. But more like, civil and criminal in this regard specifically.

We have seen the civilian front essentially pressing forward in a big way.

I feel we still have yet to see the shoe to drop on the criminal front. And I feel like they've taken every step to set the stage there.

Who knows though? 🤷‍♂️

Good point. I do think Ratcliffe speaking up before the election gives validity to it though, he must have more proof than just an IP scan.

Why would a iranian IP be monitoring a server counting AMERICAN votes. It's unacceptable regardless.

You can't determine if they are "monitoring" it doesn't work that way. From the outside, all you can do is watch packets traverse the internet and see where they came from and where they went. Due to encryption you can't see whats in the packets. But I can tell you, at any given time any computer on the internet is talking to or exchanging packets with hundreds of foreign IPs. Everything from brief DNS lookups to telemetry data streaming from windows or any of your apps.. You name it. A Dominion datacenter or office has hundreds of desktops, laptops, people on wifi their phones. Servers etc.. At any time any one of those devices gets sent to the internet from their local network, all the traffic from all those devices in an office looks like it originates from a single IP. The one associated with the office internet connection. You would have to prove that it was the software on the server communicating for nefarious reasons to an Iranian server and not someone's candy crush game on a smart phone. Only way to figure that out is to force discovery in the courts which would subpoena the server logs and records and the router/firewall logs and records.. Then you cross your fingers they have the logs, that they retrieve it properly, that your long shot of it being nefarious are true. And that it wasn't any of the other hundred thousand devices connected to the internet. Its a long shot, most likely no chance of working.

Thats the problem tho. It's server pertaining to election and national security. There shouldn't be any monitoring from anyone but people at national security facilities.

That by itself is a breach that cannot be excused

That's a big claim. She's going to need a lot of evidence to back that up.
