Now just wait until this technology improves, and somebody creates a video of Trump or another candidate saying something they didn't say (racial slurs?), or doing something they didn't do (sex tape?). Will there eventually come a point where we can't trust anything we see?
The thing about deepfakes, or any other piece of software really, is that it's ALWAYS bound to have chinks in it's armor a skilled forensic team can exploit into a gaping hole. They know this, and it is why they don't do it.
