This is worldometers, one of the most popular sites in the world for tracking covid.

When you browse, this column is NOT seen, you need to customize the data, and check a box to show it.

Sort of puts things in context, doesn't it.

I followed worldometers religiously for the first three months of 2020. Then I gradually realized what bullshit it was becoming.

Haven’t been back since. Still a good tracking site for other things though. You can find a whole list of diseases that kill more people than Covid has.

2k died 169k recovered so somewhere around 1% chance you will die? With how they count deaths not bad at all.

Uk - Deaths in people with China flu that occurred within 28 days of testing positive will be published daily

SO they can get it, beat it and die from a heart attack on day 27 and that is a covid death?

Yeah. Or a car wreck, or an aneurysm. Or choking. Or stroke, Or gunshot. Or you get the point. Any death that had a positive test result within 28 days.

If nobody got tested, nobody would show up as a "new case" They need a column showing percent of population tested.

Interesting that flu deaths always spike in the winter and the flu deaths are included with covid in CDC data, lolz
