Glenn is on a redemption arc ...Quite a stark difference between him and the many who are on the "cuck" arc. Unlike Lindsay Graham, I actually believe Glenn to be sincere.
I listened to him before he really blew up - his show used to be much more light-hearted and fun, like when he took up a low carb diet and would interrupt the show to take a mouthful of whipped cream (zero carbs) when he was about to get upset.
I stopped when he had an extended breakdown on air over his dog dying. I get it, losing a dog hurts, but it just got...uncomfortable.
I've tried his shows out from time to time since, but he's not the same guy I listened to back then. Shame, he was a lot of fun. He seems to careen from drama to drama these days.
Use to be a daily listener. Very good at his craft. Like him I was a cruise supporter. Was very sad when Ted dropped out. Beck was such a never Trumper that he said elect Hillary & hold the line to not select another SCOTUS for 4 years. I was like are u crazy??? I was SHOCKED the no good, spineless, feckless RINOs in the senate made it 6 months. No way they could hold out 4 years. That’s insane to even consider. I supported Trump period. I t voted for him on Supreme Court alone. He has turned out to be the best man ever for this job at this point in time.
Beck is terrific on history. He is HORRIBLE at theology (pastor/chaplain here). He is also has a very dystopian outlook on most things.
I still listen on occasion. He is a good man doing the best he can.
I used to be a huge fan of Beck during his run at Fox. He was legit pointing out that the Democrats were pushing the country towards Marxism. I get that he was Never Trump during the 2016 primaries. He wanted Ted Cruz and that's fine. That's what the primaries are about. Picking your champion. After Trump won, Beck stayed never Trumper, knowing the choice was between Trump and Hillary. A month before the 2016 election, Beck stated that he was leaning towards voting for Hillary. The guy with all the research and chalkboard explanations was going to vote for Hillary. If she got in, the country was over. It's the same battle we face this election. He only came around when he had to start laying people off and needed to bandwagon onto the movement. I'll listen to him, but I'm never going to trust him again.
