their game is to play 'we believe in X' when they could give a flying fuck about it. all they care about is power. fear is too that they use. fear of being ignorant. fear of being cast out. fear of being mocked. fear of death. fear of hurting someone else. fear someone will do something they just made up just for you. fear is their tool.
