Here's where I'm confused... On election night, it was shown that people from various polling centers were coming to the main counting chamber with flash cards, holding all the votes that had been counted from their center... this is where the big spikes came from; not from ongoing individual counting.

So, to me, the arguments of "they couldn't have counted this much" make no sense, because they didn't, really... it was just polling centers uploading their data.

If I'm right, then this is not what we should be arguing. We should be arguing the validity of a random person, with no security or chain of command, uploading data.

I think you are mistaken. There are ballots gathered and verified at outlying locations that are bagged up, and delivered to the counting center where they are supposed to be validated again and then run through the machines. This according to WAPO. https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2020/11/05/vote-count-michigan-no-fraud/

This is one of the things I'm referring to:

Some woman had a flash card full of votes that she just uploaded.

Were those ballot receipts?

Bc the machines can print whatever receipt for a given ballot they want as well.
