The biggest issue I’ve had with all the covidian hysteria (outside of using it to steal an election) is what it’s doing to children. It’s a constant battle with my young ones, nieces and nephews to remind them that face masks, distance learning, not showing family and friends we love physical affection, looking at people as if they have some disease that will kill you, etc... is not normal. Only thing I can do while the world is crazy is to help them keep their own minds strong. This will have such a terrible impact on children for years to come.

Fuck that. I have 5 kids. Their mom’s mom lives with us. My dad works for me occasionally. My kids get all the love and hugs they want from them. We also get together with friends and their children all the time. Johns Hopkins releases information stating that we have had no excess deaths from previous years and heart attack deaths (perennial number one cause of death) are down. This virus isn’t shit. I have morbidly obese, diabetic aunts and uncles who had it and were fine. If they can handle it, 99.8% of people can handle it...oh wait. They can.

If people don’t do that kids will adapt and think it’s just the way life is, and that’s no life at all.
If you are a guest, you dont bring other guests uninvited. That is a breach of protocol. Cousin doesnt get invited to anything else ever again because he broke the rules and put the hostess in an awkward situation. Meals require a great deal of planning and preparation and you just do not do this to someone without major major blowback and being taken to the woodshed.
