Brutal. They’re literally grooming people into a cult. If academia didn’t sweep the horrors of communism under the rug it would be regarded worse than nazism.

a few days ago i realized what communism is. it is the most brutal form of capitalism (by their definition). they only allow monopolies to exist. the gov and the corp are one in the same. all the profits and benefits goto the corp/gov the people get whatever scraps they let you have. all of the bureaucracy of both a mega corp and gov tied into one giant bundle of crap because even if you get ahead the corp/gov takes it from you.

It’s the absolute destruction of the individual. Giving the state absolute power only ends in one way.

100% agree.

it is about taking as much from you as it can and then using guilt and fear to gaslight you into thinking you are doing a good thing. then giving you peanuts in return and telling you it is gold and you should be honored to get it.

But that's not how they frame it and that's the very reason it is so evil.

they do not frame it that way. but it does not stop me from saying it everywhere i can.

Except for the whole competing in a free market thing.

make no mistake communism is evil. capitalism can however be subverted into a form of communism (usually fascism or feudalism). where the gov rules are basically made up by the corporations and they just write the laws. they use 'campaign contributions' to do it. bribery is on the table in capitalism. once you realize that everything can be bought for a price you realize there needs to be a heavy check things to insure a free market. I personally am on the fence if we should have a totally open market. not because it would would be a good thing but because it could be subverted into a bad thing. laze fare economics seems to only work if everyone is a good actor (long term). take for example trumps tariffs on china. the assumption was that china was being a good actor. it is plainly clear at this point they were not. so an intervention was needed. my mind is not made up on that though because if you interfere too much you create the same conditions.

the reason communism is utterly unable to compete in a free market is because by its very definition is a monopoly. monopolies seek to extract maximum value from its resources (work force, assets, laws, etc) and minimize costs (labor, rent, taxes). it can not compete as if a competitor can enter the market and upset their balance of MR=MC and blow it up. they can not exist after a particular point if they are not a monopoly they will not have the income for it. being the gov/corp they are they can enforce their position by law and force and either seize the labor of someone else or deplatform them. they do not compete because they do not have to.

It doesn't matter what they call themselves or what branch of leftism they follow. Could be communism, progressivism, democratic socialism, intersectionalism, feminism, social justice, whatever - all of these movements are manifestations of human envy, lethargy, resentment, vengeance, and destruction. They will concoct whatever mental structures are necessary to justify their hatred in academia and society, but that hatred is what animates and directs all of their behavior.
