Haven't had a drink since August. As much as I enjoyed a glass of scotch to wind down on some days, I'll be honest by saying that I don't really miss it, either.
You know what sucks about being sober? If you get drunk it lasts a few hours. Being sober only lasts a moment, and then you've got to convince yourself all over again a moment later, all day long.

Ahh ok, well I am old so "sober" means not drinking or drugging.
I'm old too, and love muh beer thas why I have definitions for words that might not be textbook sorta thinking.

I’ve been sober since 2016 for the most part, maybe been drinking 4 times since. president Trump has had a great influence on my life, in many ways.
