She's kind of a long time big deal senator, well known for employing Chinese operatives on her staff, among other instances of swampiness. Other than that, it just signals Washington shakeup to me. Her position on the Judiciary committee was criticized for her handling of the Kavanagh and ACB SCOTUS hearings.
