I'm imagining that Jesus is explaining to Don that He has loved him since before he was being knitted together in his mother's womb. Donald-the-Seeker is learning about his place in history and about his calling to do what he is now fulfilling. They will continue on this path for many years. At some points, our Lord will carry Don (like in the poem) and Jesus will be always faithful. "I will be with you, until the end of the age."
I really like how you think, and your ability to perceive things from a different perspective. As you mentioned it could appear they are walking side by side, my mind lit up. It really does makes sense, for the way you have illustrated it. It thrills me that we have truth seeking brothers and sisters on this site, and so much wisdom radiates from its users. May we continue on our journey into battle of good vs evil, giving our hearts to the almighty. Allowing us to be used as vessels to destroy the wall of lies, and to shine light onto the things the unfaithful cannot see. I truly do love all who come here and participate, its a blessing to be a part of this.
