"Liberal College students" of the 60s 70s and 80s were nothing like what academia is churning out now. The CFR had been in place for 40+ years, infiltrating it with all the commie Profs and curriculum they could. USSR was still the enemy and communism was still shunned, with few exceptions.
The "liberals" you refer to were more about smoking pot, and by the 80s doing cocaine, than anything political. You might be surprised to learn how the Vietnam war protests started, that happened about 50 miles from here. I've spoken with people who were there, in that hallway. Like everything else it was about money.

Too bad most in government are concerned primarily with following it into their own pockets. We need a purge, and it might start within 3 weeks if our Courts fail us, but the odds of them at least hearing evidence is looking better.
