Thanks for finding some common ground! Let me try to address the good points you raise:

Agreed that some flavor of anti-communist patriotism is needed! DJT has finally started addressing that, via a couple EOs; more than just speeches or tweets. Many here have said these efforts are the most important thing he's done yet. Fortunately it's not branded as "McCarthyism." We agree t McCarthyism was a good thing and should have no negative connotations.

Many who embrace Marxism now say "the red scare is over." I say fear has nothing to do with it, just a sober look at history.

In the 70s the footage you see was sensational, not the norm. Protests started because College students realized their tuition paid for rich corporations to use their facilities for hiring fairs. They wanted these companies to pay something for this, even if it was still cheaper for the corporations than other options. Students realized this would either keep their tuition from rising further, or add to the budget for improvements they wanted. That's fiscally conservative! Lol. Quite the opposite of how things are portrayed and yes, that's on purpose. Propaganda. Disinformation.

Now, I'm not pretending all those protesters were hard core conservative, or stayed conservative. The political capital came from the same deep state we fight now, but there was close to 0 awareness of this; it was still insidious in its subversion. Protesters weren't about conservative / liberal like today. They started out saying go ahead and recruit, just pay something for our facilities. The protests were actually geared toward their own College administration! Cops were brutal, and the predictable reaction happened. As protesters learned more about the job interviews primarily going to make napalm and "collateral damage," rebellion against the older generation that everyone has to go through to mature found a niche.

The CFR / commie wing in academia / deep state could both keep their cover and exploit this. By supporting protesters and encouraging staff to do so, they were embraced by students and not scrutinized as advancing communism. While they couldn't change laws about marijuana, they certainly could effect more tolerant policies. Moral depravity was the primary Soviet attack against the US and sex drugs and rock n roll became a thing. SEE: Yuri Brezmenov. For keeping it out of public consideration, see: Fabian society.

Add to that political capital you ask about, our CIA: the Gulf of Tonkin event never happened. It was (perhaps?) the original "false flag," a term I hate. Anyone who knew what was up and spoke against the official narrative was labeled a "conspiracy theorist." This is when the CIA popularized the term. The deep state was against freedom and people knowing the truth back then, too. Add to this the CIA MK Ultra, and the psychadelic craze was born. This is more evil than most are prepared to ponder, but just in terms of access and distribution of LSD here's an anecdote: my Dad, now a retired HS teacher, pointed out to his 4 kids that the drug pushers at rock concerts are always tall, dressed loudly, couldn't be more conspicuous, yet never got arrested. Hmmm, that means they work for the government.

That did NOT have the deterrent effect he wanted, lol. The LSD was cheap, strong, pure, and you'd never get busted. The least evil part of this government operation was to experiment with enhancing psychic abilities to weaponize it. That failed. What they proceeded with instead is truly the face of evil. But anyway it's the psychadelics that caused debauchery to explode, before AIDS. That's what you mainly see in footage from the era. Cooperating with the Soviet plan beyond their wildest dreams!

So to blame this mess on baby boomers would be to say everybody was stupid for not figuring this all out. With the context being Korea and Vietnam wars were to prevent "the domino effect" of communism spreading everywhere. Again the DS used all this confusion to stay hidden, while growing in influence. This brings up the MIC Eisenhower warned us about.

I'll point out it's only this year we can openly discuss the DS, Fed, etc and only a minority is out of the loop. I grew up with my elders all asking "what's wrong with this Country?" Nobody knew. I found out by 1990. Been trying to redpill people ever since. I'm exhausted and can use the fresh legs joining the fight! Strong as an ox though. Ready for the revolution we all know has to take place ...

Most of this makes sense and aligns with what I read. I wasn’t aware of the false flag but seems like an open secret on Wikipedia now (listed as such).

I don’t know if the modern concept of the “deep state” sounds very controversial (to me) though I don’t like how it sounds to others. But I don’t think it need to be conspiratorial. Geopolitical goals cannot be achieved on a 4 year time scale. Democracies like the US are thus politically flawed, and would be less competitive than more stable governments like China that can pursue long term strategies / goals (for example, controlling territory to develop / connect an oil pipeline requires a long term strategy). But the USA is one of the dominant global geopolitical powers. It’s only logical that it would have some guiding Center outside the realm of public elections that could guarantee military strategy stability. For example, before Biden lost power, the USA was arming al qaeda. McCain was involved. When Trump came he may have gotten in the way of that, and this could be a major strategic interference on his part and the reason he’s being targeted seemingly from both sides. Remember how pro-Iraq war Fox was way back. These groups on both sides seem to support a lot of these long term military actions.

War propaganda and false flags are expected, “chemical weapons in Syria”, etc. Most people I know seem to believe or reject false flag claims based on their political biases. Similar to how people are questioning or believing in Biden’s victory based on what they want to be true.

But all that doesn’t matter. You’ve demographically replaced large portions of the American electorate now, and the country will never vote as it once did. There will probably be yet another 100 million immigrants coming here over the next 50 years, and it will be harder to stop this then it was 10 years ago. I don’t think a country can ever have stability if it has any substantial amount of immigration, as you can’t have a long term shared history if everyone in every generation has a different history. The Americanism as an experiment is likely going to come to an end soon, both in America as well as in places that adopted its ideological axioms in Western Europe.

Perhaps two countries will eventually form on the North American plains. One inspired by and going back to the ideology of its founding, and one inspired by the ideology of the 60’s civil rights generation.

Edit: Maybe I’m being too much of a doomer. I’m here because the energy of this place is just so refreshing and positive, in the face of so much adversity. I hope the world changes in a positive way in the future. Trump is a god king amongst men, and his supporters are a different breed. Godspeed.
