Remember he was always well liked by most everyone who knew him. He has been friends with a rainbow of different types of people for decades. Remember the old story of Trump getting out of his limo to break up a fight? Didn’t the guy have a baseball bat? Who does that? Back in the day, Geotus rebuilt the Wollman skating rink after the previous build project failed miserably and did so at his own expense and came in 6months early with completion. Of course he made a deal that he would run the facility and another skating rink, but he accomplished what others were struggling mightily to complete. He is just that guy. I know people who are simply doers, and that’s him. There are few people that I would like to sit down and have a cup of coffee with, more than him. It’s the drive of people like him that have paved the way for so many others.
