That he claims to be a "devout Catholic" yet supports abortion is staggering. Then again, the RCC of today is not what it once was. The Pope is a straight up commie. Liberation theology is straight from the pit of Hell.

The pope is on an island with some of his comments. embarrassing for the devout catholics. Some of the most devout Catholics are listening to based preachers on youtube though not the pope. the pope is the AOC of the religious world. the people who have Mary statues in their houses listen to based priests that are "exercising their conscience" actively telling us not to donate to certain charities even though the offering is going round,

Unfortunately it’s not quite accurate to say he’s “on an island.” The Church has been infiltrated by her enemies probably for better than a hundred years. Pope Pius X in the early 20th century was the first to start a full-fledged counter-attack against what he called “modernism,” essentially the poisonous idea of a philosophical “compromise” of sorts with the modern world. The seeds that were planted at that time by these modernists in the Church led finally to the full-on revolutionary act of the Second Vatican Council where horrendous lies were inserted into Church documents as to stand in for true doctrine. Francis is basically the culmination of Vatican II Catholicism, the pinnacle and crowning achievement of the Church’s enemies. Worst, he himself may not even know it, for these destroyers’ stated goals included that of reforming a Church such that prelates would rise in their own image, as modernists and enemies of the Church, and yet would fancy themselves good Catholics.

Remedy for faithful Catholics? Traditional Latin Mass. Listen to people like Taylor Marshall on YouTube and read good Catholic publications like the Remnant newspaper or Catholic Family News. I personally go to Mass at an SSPX Church but FSSP or a local diocesan TLM are also great options.

Preach it. This is a critical time for Catholics to really understand doctrine and not be confounded by the current turmoil. Following the path of her Master, the Church is entering her passion.
