Pittsburgh, Filthadelphia, and State College are all Democrat. The rest of the state is very conservative. Not even a discussion.
The Pittsburgh Post Gazette endorsed Trump the week leading up to the election. The first Republican candidate they have endorsed since 1972. So, you're telling me that Trump did worse in 2020 than he did in 2016 with that endorsement. The PPG is a business, they aren't endorsing Trump unless they believe at least half of Pitt is going for Trump. It just makes no sense to me.
Edit: Pittsburgh is Allegheny County for those that aren't from the Keystone State.
Yeah, as a former Pennsylvania resident I just don't buy it. I moved after the 2016 election and from what I hear from friends things have only leaned more towards Trump. Hell, I was coming back from visiting friends not too long before the election and as we were getting onto the turnpike outside of Pittsburgh there was a HUGE Trump flag right there. It was unreal for me to see that anywhere near Pittsburgh.
