The hospitals are hurting for cash flow. COVID basically stopped all other procedures and they in turn laid off huge amounts of their workers.

I've seen multiple comments on TDW alone from medical workers who highlight that hospitals tag everything they can with COVID for funding purposes. It's a problem in general from what I gather; any sort of disease that gets them funding is used as much as possible. I'm not a medical worker so I could be wrong here, but it's what I've heard from people.

They will.

Disease is real plague, however it hits people selectively, and the criteria is not know. However we know that some overweight, with cardiovascular issues and compromised imunity have much lower chances to survive.

Hospitals do capitalize on ICU units fully utilized which cost $20,000 per day, I assume. There are some patients that generate the billings of $0.5million.

They should charge a "Covid administration fee" each time it's included on a death certificate. That should bring death rates right down!

Holy shit! This is exactly what I said today. Additionally, they have a perverse incentive to kill patients by forcing them onto ventilators and then speeding up their death to cash in on their $39k.
