Dominion Voting Systems is the gold standard for transparent and accountable voting equipment

That is enough. There is nothing gold standard about equipment that was rejected by Texas. There is nothing transparent about closed source hardware and software.

We need to stop worrying about optics.

18
Throwingitinthesea 18 points ago +20 / -2

Wrong. You literally could not be more wrong.

Optics are everything. You fight fire with fire. Why do you think so many normies are brainwashed by the MSM? To present something half-assed, is to give fuel to the left that Patriots are a bunch of tin foil hat wearing hicks. That’s why press conferences and any type of media exchanges are so critical. Pence MURDERED Harris in the debate, and the left wants to talk about a fly. Or hair dye running down someone’s head. Having a presser in a dirty parking lot with signs staple gunned to the wall behind you while your speakers are faced directly into the sun so they squint uncomfortably the entire time and stand as if they’re in a police line up makes you look stupid- not trustworthy. It will not matter what comes out of your mouth if the optics look like a three ring circus.

If the object of the game is a clear, sharp, serious message, and the success of landing it means you need people to trust your credibility optics ARE everything.

10
I_Used_to_be_me 10 points ago +10 / -0

2
Deeznutsmatter 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree with almost everything, except the part about “ normies “. The left, and other idiots that rely on mainstream media are anything but normal. Far from it. Those of us that support the president, and rely on critical thinking to form an opinion are normal. The people you are talking about are abnormal, and should be referred to as “ABNORMIES”. I don’t care if the person telling the truth is wearing Bibb overalls and has cowshit on his boots, because I am normal, and truth is more important to me than appearances. Optics shouldn’t be important, but because many in this country can’t form an opinion without media assistance, they are.

1
FOUR_MORE_TERMS 1 point ago +3 / -2

Optics is the reason we let the cities burn and get looted. Because muh optics. Can't have law and order.

1
NZ_needs_a_Trump 1 point ago +1 / -0

I disagree. Last year has shown me optics are entirely meaningless. The left can literally take a smiling kid and turn him into hitler. The left and those who will never be on your side are forever going to paint you as evil no matter what you do, so you might as well do everything you can to retain power, protect the constitution, have the power to enact laws that strip these media companies of protection to constantly lie, and remove these liberal policy makers from sectors like entertainment and education. We have power, we just also need the influence. The media is a lost cause and will literally never be on your side so you are better doing everything to fight it rather than putting on a dress and curtseying to it. The liberal media, social media they all need their protections removed so that we can fight fairly against them and compete with them. We also need the education sector to ensure the next generations are only learning real scientific things not muh raycis sexist crap

This is what they are trying to AVOID. They push back with lawsuit they get taken to discovery. Discovery is every criminals and corrupt corporations worst nightmare. This is why they always settle.

They can TRY to sue her for the death threats and damage to their company brand. But they won't be able to fully prove they got death threats at all unless they open for discovery. Which would mean emails/phone records/correspondence/employee records including their names, phone numbers, addresses. You know, employee's like Eric Coomer. Who's no where to be found and likely not a coincidence.

I know from accounting software that there are absurdly high standards that every change & deletion is tracked and things are designed immutable on purpose once entered even if it was garbage. I would have expected that same level, or even more, from this joke of a "Voting Systems" company.

27
Choomguy 27 points ago +27 / -0

Yeah, but a compamy buys robust. accounting software to protect its owners. Voting software is purchased by politicians to fuck over the owners.

21
Hoshi 21 points ago +21 / -0

Besides the fact Dominion has an internet system hooked up to the election machines when that isn't suppose to be AND they released a last minute patch that should have uncertified the machine because it was not examined by both parties.

8
Sillylibtards2020v2 8 points ago +9 / -1

The difference is you are the end user for that accounting software.

Dominion or Smartmatic are the developers. They can design the program to have limitations for the end users (poll workers, election officials) but they can make the software do whatever they want including manipulating votes but making the audit logs look legitimate.

The code and random systems are supposedly inspected by govt agencies and third party companies (I'm sure those audits are totes fair and not corrupt in anyway /s), who should technically catch any malicious or questionable code. But I would imagine they don't take any chances with audits and have legitimate code on the machines 99.9% of the time.

Systems weren't physically secured before the election (philly warehouse) and we've heard stories about these systems getting last minute updates at a few places, so how do we know the code in those updates were inspected? And it could be as simple as changing a line or two of code, then removing that code when you are done manipulating the vote and before there's a chance the machine gets audited. At least if the system is not connected to any network this would have to be done physically at the machine, but even then I'm sure there are ways around having to stick a usb drive into the machine, maybe some hidden nfc or wifi capabilities. But there were also reports some of these machines were connected to the internet when they weren't supposed to be.

3
fazaman 3 points ago +3 / -0

And it could be as simple as changing a line or two of code, then removing that code when you are done manipulating the vote and before there's a chance the machine gets audited.

Set the code to delete itself. Then you don't even have to get access to the machine again. "If $CountComplete and $ResultObtained then DeleteSelf." Some file in some dynamically loaded module directory disappears, and the machine is in it's normal audited state.

1
AsianVoter 1 point ago +1 / -0

At least if the system is not connected to any network

Were you not watching the Zoom canvassing hearing at Wayne County, MI and Senate hearing in PA? Both had IT specialists as eyewitnesses confirmed that the machines were not only connected but they were also online (contradicting the lies from inquired Dem election officials on scenes), breaking all crucial election security protocols, including chain of custody.

Freedomnc1776 1 point ago +1 / -0

21
Klyuchak 21 points ago +21 / -0

And let's not forget about the dual ability to not just read, but also print on ballots, effectively allowing you to completely change the paper trail.

6
JoinTheDiscussion 6 points ago +6 / -0

Forensic analysis could easily differentiate a printed ballot vs one inked in

5
Yeow 5 points ago +5 / -0

I believe they are doing forensic analysis of the ink now. Saw it earlier, buried in my bookmarks somewhere...

2
Klyuchak 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, even just visually inspecting it without forensics would be very easy to spot it's printed, but that's besides the point of them claiming it being completely secure. And while finding the printed ballot would suggest fraud, that doesn't necessarily mean we can prove anything, or that they won't try to put kind of plausible deniability in place like, "ohh, it was just correcting for a ballot that was ink stained", or "the scanner malfuntioned and accidently destroyed the original(s)" But of course hard to deny when it ends up showing mass printed ballots out of the machines.

Cyber security expert testimony about Dominion's system lack of security and mentions data breach at Kennesaw state (voter data). Defendant is Ga Sec of State.

Page 22 Footnote: Dr. Coomer previously served as Vice President of U.S. Engineering for Dominion and prior to that was the Vice President of Research and Development for Sequoia Voting Systems. He has worked in product development for election systems since 2005. He obtained his Masters degree and Ph.D. in nuclear physics and plasma physics from the University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor of science degree in engineering physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. (Tr. Vol. II at 99-100.) He additionally testified that he had designed the vote adjudication system used by Dominion, had written code for various election components, and provides primary election support for major Dominion customers

Page 50: Additionally, Plaintiffs have offered an affidavit from cybersecurity expert Harri Hursti who witnessed on October 1, 2020 some of the initial installation of the software now proceeding on approximately 3,300 of Fulton County’s ballot marking device touchscreen units to ICX software version 5.5.10.32 in the Fulton County Election Preparation Center. (Doc. 942.) He describes in detail how 14 Dominion technicians en masse engaged in removal of the old software and installation of the new software in disorganized, rushed, and careless form – without consistent implementation of various required steps and Dominion directives for installation of the software or any evident security standards or tracking of flash drives containing sensitive information. In Hursti’s view, the entire hasty and unprofessional software swap out and installation process is itself cause for grave concern as to the future security and consistent functionality of the new system.

This document is a gold mine. Lots of testimony from Coomer, weak defense by Pro V&V, other expert testimony saying the dominion system is not secure.

Even the judge seems to think the system securities are a serious risk, IMO.

This case was about QR codes but there is a ton of revealing information, including a company named Fortalice Solutions a cybersecurity consulting firm that previously has performed security analysis regarding the Secretary of State’s information technology system, as discussed in the Court’s Order of August 15, 2019 and which conducted a confidential initial evaluation of the BMD system in November 2019 at Defendants’ counsel’s request on behalf of the Secretary of State

2
marishiten 2 points ago +2 / -0

See, I don't understand this. Why is this guy a VP of R&D and security of software solution for voting machines if he has nuclear physics degree you don't go into a voting software start up with those kind of credentials. You work for the government or a research division or a utility. I find it very strange that he's the head of software development and security. The fuck would he know about any of that (nuclear/plasma degree's are pretty fucking specific).

I don't know if Cali lets their degrees be bought or if it's all honorary, but it's very suspicious that a guy with a Nuclear/Plasma Physics phd does absolutely nothing in relation to his degree that likely costs him hundreds of thousands of dollars on top of 10 years of schooling. I'm not saying he's a dumbass, far from it, but I wouldn't hire him as an executive to the R&D/software security division of a voting solution. That makes no sense at all.

That’s not even true. One of the complaints is that a single admin, like Eric Coomer in Detroit on election night for example, can drag and drop votes from one candidate to another. This functionality is described in the manual.

On an actual secure voting platform, this would not be possible.

14
weltbild 14 points ago +14 / -0

It requires thousands of people who are part of the process but just one brenda snipes person to install loyalist in key positions

35

I laughed there too. 97% of vote in Washington DC voted against Trump. Thousands of participants would not be required, though I'd imagine actual count of cheaters surpassed this.

14
Weallseethetruth 14 points ago +14 / -0

The truth from how I understand it is that they don't even need that many people to do it!!! 10 people in one area and boom... And we know they hired people from all over the country that didn't mark their ticket as Republican or Dem and were accepted anyway... Those were probably paid off antifa fucks or something

13
Sillylibtards2020v2 13 points ago +13 / -0

I'm sure you could accomplish this with less than 10 people in one area. I'm sure there were only a couple people in suite 614 at the State Farm arena after the "pipe burst".

And it only needs to happen in a few key areas around the country for it to flip an election, so it could potentially take less than 100 people nationwide to pull this off.

They sure did love linking to Chris Krebs statement about this being the "secures election of all time." You know, the chris Krebs who partied with dominion staffers on election night? An innocent company would have sued Sidney for defamation by now, but then she would have discovery. This statement is hilarious. If there were fraud.

244
TrumpTrainNov3 244 points ago +244 / -0

Yep. Bannon said something along these same lines that they will never sue anyone and go through the discovery process 🤣

49
BoatMcBoatface 49 points ago +66 / -17

Sideny does not allege Dominion company participated in the fraud. She says their voting machines were used for fraud by unnamed people. Moreover, in other to sue they would need to demonstrate her actions caused them harm - which they mention at end, if something bad does happen then they will sue.

So it is not correct to say: just because someone doesn’t sue they agree what is being told about them.

38
yavnik 38 points ago +38 / -0

Wrong. They could easily argue that they are being defamed. Lawsuits have been one of the left's go-to attacks against Trump supporters and anyone aligned with him. They aren't taking her to court because they are afraid that they would lose.

6
BoatMcBoatface 6 points ago +11 / -5

It would be not in their best interest. Media have either ignored Powell or branded her and her claims as lunacy. There’s no benefit for them to file any court case.

They would also have to prove any actual harm they suffered. If someone cancels contract with them because of Powell’s claims then they may go ahead and send her a cease and desist letter.

1
marishiten 1 point ago +1 / -0

They're afraid of what Sidney would find when the discovery process opened up. Dominion doesn't want her digging around in their internal documentation and correspondence

Wrong. She is claiming that their voting machines were created with the intent to help rig the election in favor of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, which would be a direct accusation on the product itself, not they they were “used for fraud by unnamed people”.

Also, you can sue for slander / libel and come up with any reason like monetary / emotional damages and resulting harassment etc. It’s ridiculous to claim otherwise especially with everything that’s been blatantly going on for the last 4 years.

1
BoatMcBoatface 1 point ago +1 / -0

There’s no “emotional damage” and monetary damage would have to be proven.

A person may suffer “emotional damage” if the libel affected their quality of life, but an incorporated company has to prove exactly what damage the libel caused.

That’s why they said they will sue if any employee suffers because of her claims.

1
DCdeplorable 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't think thats what sidney said, but ill have to reread the suit. iirc she's saying smartmatic does the rigging, and dominions ties to smartmatic are the key. So its interesting how little time the dominion response spends on that topic, just saying "no ties to smartmatic, nope, nothing at all, don't bother looking"

43
Graboidzero69 43 points ago +43 / -0

378
ChuckedBeef 378 points ago +379 / -1

These guys are full of shit. It does not require a conspiracy of thousands. It requires just a handful of people, or even just one person to rig those machines. That is the reason why they were created, because voter fraud on this scale would not be possible without these machines unless you did have thousands of people coordinating it. They use the defense of 'it would take thousands of people' as if they are using paper ballots. It's a flimsy and obviously disingenuous excuse and it makes them look even more guilty.

136
ClownTamer 136 points ago +136 / -0

They’re also saying you can verify things because the machine prints ballots. That does not at all verify whether those ballots should have been printed like that.

1
Daniel644 1 point ago +1 / -0

didn't even get to keep it either, it got printed by the booth machine then carried over to the scanner that also collects it as its the "paper ballot" that functions as a backup to the digital copy.

28
Graboidzero69 28 points ago +28 / -0

I know, I can't believe they even included that in their defense.

Why the hell are Dominion devices even printing out anything??

7
CokeOrPepe 7 points ago +7 / -0

Every vote from a Dominion device in Georgia is documented on an auditable paper trail and creates a verifiable paper ballot available for hand-counting. In fact, the Georgia handcounts, independent audits, and machine tests have all repeatedly affirmed that the machine counts were accurate.

10
Wtf_socialismreally 10 points ago +11 / -1

In English: Georgia precincts printed enough votes after the fact to match up with the numbers that we had to cheat in on election night

1
ClownTamer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nearest I can see is if it’s a situation where you go in and vote on a touch screen and it prints out a ballot after, but that would appear not to apply to the grand majority of votes at issue, which were mailed in and run through the machine.

19
james43552352345 19 points ago +20 / -1

The machine prints ANONYMIZED ballots. Key point. The ballots cannot be traced to actual individual voters at all.

1
ClownTamer 1 point ago +1 / -0

That defeats the entire purpose of having a receipt.

10
Bluemoonsugar 10 points ago +10 / -0

"Every vote from a Dominion device in Georgia is documented on an auditable paper trail and creates a verifiable paper ballot available for hand-counting." You don't have to create a ballot if there was one in the 1st place for hand count.

You missed the bit where they say the ballots hand counted were produced by the Dominion machines. If the software/machine was rigged to switch votes from one candidate to the other, the ballot would not show that, it would just show a vote. The ballot is not proof at all. A forensic examination and report showing the votes were switched or the machine was tampered with would be the evidence. The ballots mean nothing.

2
ClarenceBeeks 2 points ago +2 / -0

The printed ballots are what they offer up to an audit. Yet there’s no way to match the printed ballot to what the user actually selected on screen. Trump = Biden all day

20
sketchy_at_best 20 points ago +20 / -0

I agree with the concept that if this were an issue similar to hammer/scorecard, a hand recount would have caught the issue. That being said, we don’t know the origin or purpose of the 4AM drops. It could have been adding ballots but it also could have been replacing ballots.

However, Lin Wood said he had irrefutable evidence that Kemp told his people to make sure the recounts agreed, with the exception of the found votes. I’d love to see that evidence, personally.

18

There was a recorded phone call of someone(female) calling one of the districts or precincts and asking them if they were reporting the new recount numbers or original Election Day numbers, and they said that they were ordered to report the Election Day numbers. She asked if the recount numbers were the same as the Election Day numbers and the person on the phone said that they were not and then when ask if that makes any sense to report the Election Day numbers and not the recount numbers, they went and said that’s what the state told them to do and you need to contact the state.

One thing is clear we need to figure out a system that no one can corrupt, maybe something Blockchain based so anyone that wants to could audit it.

11
womp-womp-twice 11 points ago +11 / -0

how about getting rid of computers that can be hacked and manipulated and go back to good old paper ballots, as has been done for centuries?

also, have those voting precints small enough and all 24/7 recorded and all storage and transportation of votes 24/7 recorded as well

This is why the system we used in SC (ES&S) printed a ballot with the names of who you voted for, along with a barcode for the machine to read. But even in that case, what's to stop someone in a back room 'voting' over and over for whoever they want, which prints up stacks of perfectly legit ballots?

SIDNEY: The design and features of the Dominion software do not permit a simple audit to reveal its misallocation, redistribution, or deletion of votes.

DOMINION: Dominion Voting Systems are in fact auditable—and are audited and tested regularly by multiple government agencies and independent third parties. All electronic devices used in the U.S. must be designed to be audited

THEY HAVE NOT CONTRADICTED SIDNEYS STATEMENT about specifically auditing for the «MISALLOCATION, REDISTRIBUTION OR DELETION OF VOTES.»

2013: Theranos is worth billions and has been through various tests to determine the accuracy of their method. It's just impossible that it could be a scam. For a decade now, this cutting edge company has lead the way in revolutionizing blood testing systems. The SEC and various other government agencies can confirm that it has always acted above board and without any shenanigans of any sort.

The charges by a couple journalists against the CEO are baseless and reckless.

6

Bogey 5 points ago +5 / -0

Hehe... Check it out. I wasn't far off. An actual press release from them from 2015:

On October 15 and 16, The Wall Street Journal published two front-page articles about Theranos. We have heard the questions that have followed these stories and want to provide answers.

As we provide these answers, it is important not to lose sight of a few simple truths:

Theranos’ technology is reviewed by regulators, proven in the field, and praised by leaders in the industry and doctors and individuals that we serve.

We provide blood tests faster, requiring far less blood and patient discomfort, than for any test previously available—or available today from any other laboratory.

We have run more than 3.5 million tests, with patient satisfaction scores from tens of thousands of patients that consistently rate Theranos, on average, over 4.8 out of 5. To our knowledge, we are the first laboratory to publish our prices, lab proficiency-testing scores, customer satisfaction scores, guest visit times, and more on our website.

We are confident in the reliability of our tests, because we comprehensively validate the accuracy of every test we run. In addition, we are the only laboratory that has committed to submitting all of our laboratory-developed tests, including our technology, procedures, and methods, to FDA for review and clearance. FDA has already cleared one of those tests, including our underlying test systems and Nanotainer™ tubes, for use in detecting the herpes simplex virus (HSV-1). The decision summary, which describes the rigorous science behind the clearance, is available online.

The faster speed and lower cost of our tests mean that consumers, and their doctors, can monitor their health so that problems are identified early enough to be addressed by medical professionals. Our lower prices can reduce the cost to insurers, Medicare, and Medicaid by billions of dollars, and can give individuals access to critical health data they could not otherwise afford.

Our proprietary devices are making it possible to run finger-stick samples for tests that could never be run on finger-stick before. We began using our proprietary devices in our lab at the launch of our retail operations. And we initiated filings with FDA two years ago—by choice, not necessity—because we are seeking to create a new model for laboratory testing standards, and have championed FDA oversight ever since. It is the right thing, which is also the hard thing.

We are the same company offering the same services as we were last week.

They're throwing the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) under the bus. Basically, if fraud happened, it's 'their fault':

Dominion's systems are secure as certified by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC). In fact, all voting systems must provide assurance that they work accurately and reliably as intended under federal U.S. EAC and state certification and testing requirements. Further, Dominion source code is verified and secure. Third-party test labs chosen by the bipartisan U.S. EAC and accredited by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) perform complete source code reviews on every tabulation system that is federally certified in the U.S.

12
tremendous_trump2020 12 points ago +12 / -0

And yet, every kid taking hacking 101 has been able to hack into a dominion system in 15 min or less.

6
faucipolice 6 points ago +7 / -1

2
JoinTheDiscussion 2 points ago +2 / -0

0
faucipolice 0 points ago +1 / -1

They already supplied the rope.

4
artifex_mundi_x 4 points ago +4 / -0

Good find, when push comes to shove they will use this to blame it on the EAC.

2
SilverCoyote 2 points ago +2 / -0

Actually this whole paragraph is technically true if you know the background of the certification system, and does not attribute fault to anybody. It's true that all voting systems must provide assurance that they work, and it's true that they are rigorously reviewed by NIST. The thing is, these are all just recommendations. There is no actual law that requires the state(or whoever chooses these systems) to follow these recommendations when purchasing their desired system.

It's all just corporate wordsmithing, as usual.

Source: From an 2018 NIST panel presentation at a voting security conference I listened to a week or so ago. Will gladly provide the source if anyone wants it

25
Jestre 25 points ago +26 / -1

So saying all these things are not possible, when they've been proven to be possible opens them up to a giant class action lawsuit.

21
Gunsbarrelslogs 21 points ago +21 / -0

These fuckers are chair members of the EAC. So essentially they are saying, “we’ve looked into our own company and found no problems, carry on peasants, nothing to see here...”. What a fucking joke!!! Secondly, there is no such thing as a NIST accreditation. There are independent audit firms that will audit against NIST controls and issue a audit report. However, there are thousands of audit firms not worth the paper I use to wipe my ass. There is a reason for the saying, “if you can’t do, then teach, if you can’t teach, then audit”. Auditing is the lowest tier of technical achievement in the IT and security field.

How very like them to bake in some stupid satanic shit into their name

19
eli84 19 points ago +19 / -0

they just admitted how they did it and who was involved right in the first paragraph.

While Dominion Voting Systems is not named as a defendant, on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, Sidney Powell released what appears to be a very rough draft of a lawsuit against the Republican governor and secretary of state of Georgia alleging a bizarre election fraud conspiracy that—were it possible—would necessarily require the collaboration of thousands of participants, including state officeholders, bipartisan local elections officials, thousands of volunteer Election Day poll watchers in thousands of locations across the state of Georgia, federal and state government technology testing agencies, private elections service companies, and independent third-party auditors. This quite simply did not occur.

6
weltbild 6 points ago +6 / -0

they drastically inflate the number of people who would have to be in the know of all elements of the operation all would have some guilt but would not need full knowledge

1
Pizzazz 1 point ago +1 / -0

Isn’t that statement deflection or a red herring? Powell’s allegations do not require thousands of collaborators. Dominion is trying to discredit her allegations with a statement that doesn’t even respond to her allegations.

Besides, what about all the pedes that volunteered on Election Day?

2
eli84 2 points ago +2 / -0

look up the RICO act, that's what this is all about, they want to take them out root and stem. the fact these idiots just admitted to it, is simply due to their hubris. as for pedes, how many got to see all of this bs up close, that's how all this started, they wouldnt let our pedes look at anything pretty much.

1
Pizzazz 1 point ago +1 / -0

Jumping onto something Dominion said and holding it out as truth kind of makes us look bad. Yeah, I know about RICO. Maybe some poll officials and/or volunteers were involved. But the speculation that thousands of poll workers are culpable doesn’t really track with claims like the one about the software changing votes. I really think Dominion made up a story that’s not really related to Giuliani, Powell, etc’s core claims. And it kind of discredits their claims.

"The allegations about DVS most relevant to the election outcome in Georgia are that votes tallied on a Dominion vote tabulator were somehow manipulated on a statewide basis to elevate the count in favor of the Democratic presidential candidate. It is important to understand that this is not possible... not by manipulating software"

that is just a blatant, outright lie. Any 1st-year programming student could attest to that being total BS. It's trivially easy to skew numbers in software, especially when you have DECIMALS in your counts, which they have been shown to have.

Most of it’s all baseless fluff. They say she has no evidence. She presents evidence in the damn lawsuit. They say it would take thousands to pull this off. It wouldn’t, it’d just take somebody with a computer, that’s how computers work. They say it’s the gold standard system.
