From what I recall of the press briefing, all they said was it was downloaded. From that I thought they meant the Internet, which is also illegal as the machines are mandated to have no Internet connection.
There's a report out there that says Coomer distributed the update via a bunch of USB sticks. In either case, extraordinarily insecure. Anyone who works in any sort of regulated industry should be cringing out our election process.
Wasn't the last minute GA voting machine update (that conveniently bypassed security checks) pushed by OK Coomer distributed on USB sticks too?
