I never wear a mask but the mandates still need to end. Even as a non mask wearer we are still affected because the Rona Fog still looms large over everything and the mask mandates help reinforce that. It is what keeps places closed, or operating differently.
When the masks goes is the only time things will go back to normal, and sadly most people don’t want to be rebels. But because most people are willing and scared sheep doesn’t excuse the localities who wish to exploit that and take advantage of them.
You're correct. The mandates are an encroachment on our civil liberties and a violation of the Consitiution. Overstep is only warranted when the violation is worth reduction in liberty. But as we have seen the past 8/9 months it clearly is not.
It creates an atmosphere of uncertainty and fear ripe for the rise of communism as we hand OUR RIGHTS to the government. There are even sheep who are duped into believing these rights are PRIVILEGES because the government withheld them for so long. (Thank God they allowed me to visit my dying granny!)
Pathetic. It's both the government's fault for overstepping and OUR FAULT for allowing this to happen. If we all resisted these mandates would be useless. The founding fathers are rolling in their graves.
I live in FL.
At least where I'm located, the only place I've ever been refused service for not wearing a mask was at Subway.
Currently, more and more people are foregoing the mask. In big box stores and sit down restaurants you will not be harassed for your lack of mask.
I live on the space coast and if employees at bars, restaurants, stores, etc. weren't wearing masks, you wouldn't even know that anything was different tbh. I was even in Orlando (blue area) last week and same thing. Bars and restaurants were slammed.
At least in my area, it seems things are returning to a sense of normalcy. Unfortunately, i feel we will probably have retards wearing mask wherever they go for the next couple of years just to virtue signal.
Groceries stores should've loosened up with mask mandates ever since some guy brandished a firearm at a Wal-Mart "Health Ambassador" for refusing his entry. This was the first week of most businesses requiring enforcement back in July.
Wal-Mart has a policy of allowing customers in regardless of having a mask or not because they don't want to lose customers. All youd have to do is resist a couple times and they should let you through. I know they don't give me trouble for it anymore like they used to. (It was a headache. If it was a "good day" I would buy more than usual)
I understand your reasoning, best not let your kids see you argue or have them be targetted.
But they do remember and realize what is going on around them during that time and you not wearing a mask would make an imprint on them even if they can't vocalize it.
I don't mind what you choose to do (and you shouldn't care either, I'm just some person on the internet), kids come first.
Have you tried going in without a mask anyway? What kinds of stores are you referring to? Groceries stores should allow you in at the very least.

End the violation of civil liberties!

I was just refused service at a restaurant on Wednesday. I was also refused service at a 7/11. Most other places have taken my "no" as an answer.
