I think covid is overblown, but I ran the numbers this morning and there's a difference in datasets that the CDC provides. She used the longer timeframe and it seems it is missing data

2019-2020 data: https://i.ma.ga/fpzrL.png

I also ran several other data sets that they have (e.g. by age group) and it matches the 2nd graph.

Sucks, but no sense in pushing something that will eventually be uncovered as faulty.
