Here's something to ponder on, pedes: Who has the most to lose once the population becomes aware that nuclear energy is clean, safe, and reliable? Imagine how much money the oil/gas industry would lose if every ship, train, car, or plane (dreaming atm) ran on NuScale's SMR or hydrogen fuel cells? In the billions!! Does that make sense?
Anything that produces energy can be weaponized, and not every nuclear reactor is a potential bomb. Let me ask you something: Using decayed nuclear weapons' fuel in nuclear reactors is the best way to reduce the number of stocked nuclear weapons while simultaneously providing efficient electricity; what point do you think I'm missing, knowing that old warheads can be used to solve a country's growing energy problem? Is it possible this guy understood how? And maybe that's the reason someone didn't want him alive any longer? I won't rule it out.
