Flood low quality submissions to erode quality of a forum
Find 'divisive' topics and flood it to stir circle-jerk conflict in the community. When you spot submissions that divide people in .win, there's a good chance it's a disinfo campaign. Watch to see if that topic gets re-submitted over and over again trying to general conflict. You'll often see low effort comments pushing a resentment theme -- .win doesn't do resentment culture, not our brand.
Take valid observations and criticisms then take them to the extreme, personal attacks targeting those who hold to reasoned argument and don't join in the extremes. Flooding these topics make great content for media outlets to dismiss an entire community as conspiracy lunatics. Could probably train up chat bots specifically for this purpose at low effort.
You can usually spot these slides if you spend a lot of time in a community.
For newcomers are casual observers it's confusing. They don't have the vision to discern between authentic content and disinformation.
Black pilling disinformation accounts is a fun counter strategy. Sensing it's a bit shilly out there? Talk about Tiananmen Square, topics communist China censor internally. "You will never be a woman" as the chans humorously toss out there.
It only gets more messy until a community is cracked and new communities pop up. Practice comfort in heterodox opinions, accepting as an individual is a helpful mindset to sniff out Bullshit from Truths.
