In circa mid 20teens Facebook had a conspiracy group tasked with checking verifying and removing conspiracy theories from Facebook. The people that worked there wrote an op Ed about how they had seen so much info it started turning them into conspiracy theorists. It was the funniest thing I ever read. I wonder if the internet scrubbed that article. Sounds similar to what they are doing with this group.
