Yeah, Knowles is saying to be patient, and seems to have given in the least, but even the two of them are sort of "looking to the future". They will call for civility and peace until we are disarmed and defenseless and unable to keep ourselves out of the gulags.

I still love Klavan, but man... the "Doomer" part of me sets in when I look at our leaders on the Right and think "The Right will never go to war without leadership, and our leaders will never lead us in to defensive war."
