I always suspected an acquaintance had a look alike friend take the exam for her. All you needed was a driver's license with a picture. I never got further than speculating about it, but I still believe it occurred. Proving it would have very difficult. When I took the test it was all computerized with very strict security at the testing center. I actually had to remove the glasses I was wearing and take some scotch tape off one of the side pieces in case I had I dunno, a microchip? We were practically frisked before going in.
Scotch tape can be unrolled with stuff written on it. I know someone who did that in high school.
I've never cheated on a test, myself, failed a few, but just learned the lesson to be better prepared. It's like, if I study, and get decent grades, and then a decent report card, then Dad won't blow his lid at me. Huh.

If fact if you can misdirect your enemy you can gain valuable information of what their weaknesses may be. You can force them to waste time and money defending against the attack that's never going to come.
Most importantly of all you can flush out their strategy. This is speed chess with an opponent with almost unlimited resources and lots of power. And don't think for a moment we aren't playing to the death.
