Just to play devil's advocate, how much of that is attributable to fewer deaths from car accidents and things like that, since people weren't leaving their homes?
Less people going to hospitals to treat minor issues that could have turned major, also people definitely got fatter sitting on ass all day...increase in heart disease. I would say it probably balances out. There should definitely be a lot more deaths than the previous year if we are in a global pandemic.
