I'm not a practicing christian but I prayed for the first time last week. Trump will win and good will prevail. Never before has it become more evident to me that there is a genuine fight between good and evil.

May God bless you with more faith!

You don't need to be "practicing" anything. Believe in Jesus, and do your best to live without sin, and feel free to pray/read the Bible. That's a Christian. You don't have to go to church or anything like that. That's optional.

The Bible may be the biggest red pill that there is.

The Bible says good will be seen as evil, and evil will be seen as good. Doesn't that sound like the world we're living in today? How often do you see people celebrating abortion? The world now accepts that murdering babies is completely normal.

When you realize there are actual forces of good and evil, religion isn't far behind. You can't look into the depravity of the left too long without understanding this is so much more than a few bad apples. There is an ungodly, inhuman, evil force behind them.

I see what’s happening as a way to reach people. As our society falls further into degeneracy, the worse it gets. A return to logos or the natural order of the universe is what is needed. The more they try and turn things that are good upside down and turn the natural into unnatural, the weirder things seem to get. And of course, society becomes worse off as a whole. I’ve found this in my personal life. The more I reject degeneracy and embrace Logos the better my life becomes. That is living how God intended us to live. And too, you can see the powers that be have obviously rejected this notion and are instead trying to take that order and pervert it. Abortion. Gay and Transgenderism. Breakdown of the nuclear family. Materialism over anything else. It’s time to recognize how our world has been perverted and fight back.

It's funny, secular schools somewhat teach that religion is a point that divides us, so it's impolite to talk about it or display it, further insinuating Christianity is oppressive.

However the more we go down this path, the higher my neighbors fences seem to become, the less I know the people in my neighborhood, the more you have to lock your door.

I remember knowing all the kids on the street, the families they belonged to, and not having to lock your door.

Opticsplanet 13 points ago +13 / -0

I feel the same way. I grew up knowing all the kids on my street (It was rural too) and I’d leave early and not come back till dark (90s). The trust was there that I’d be fine and nobody would harm me. I would say all of this has to do with the fact that at one time, there was a certain philia, or a profound flesh and blood fraternity between citizens. It was a high trust society. Aristotle talks about this at length. Basically he said despots always try to make a society highly fragmented and thus easier to reign over. So they actively try to make it less homogenous and more multicultural. Divide and rule. And due to that, we now live in a low trust society that lacks unity. It was planned. It wasn’t our own people who done it but another group. A highly subversive group and unfortunately, our leaders sold us all out a long time ago for money, power, and more degeneracy.

When all the gay stuff really started showing up I didn’t care at all. I didn’t think it would amount to much. People should mind their own business. It’s whatever to me. But I look back now and realize it was a slippery slope. They were never done. They were just getting started. Now it’s shoved down our throats. Then they went to the trans stuff. That was a lot for most normal people but kinda the same reaction. No hardcore pushback. Then they start bringing in the drag queens to the libraries for story hour. They look like demons reading a book. Now they want to make laws so kids can take hormones and parents can’t stop them. You start seeing celebrities saying their kid is trans. Charlize Theron adopted a kid and now she dressing that kid who’s male as a girl. Cuties comes out. Now people are wanting to add a P to LBGT. So it just never ends. And this is only one rabbit hole. I don’t see how it could go any further without people in the streets with pitchforks. I dream about the old days. The good days. The way things are heading now, I don’t get excited. I get sickened. Now, I just pray there’s enough good men and women left to help tear all this down and start again. I don’t really know how else to put it.

Shared values are being lost for sure. Devotion in our country is lacking, and that is what we are taught as Christians. Devotion to God, family, and country/community in that order.

mimefortheblind 16 points ago +17 / -1

I've observed it at first hand. A friend who is maga (and lurks here) has gone from agonstic to regular church attendance in the last few months. I see many other examples. It's happening.

11
Jjabrams 11 points ago +11 / -0

Same. It comes about when you actively witness man made institutions crumble before your eyes. Who else do you turn to but God ?

This huge fraud has shaken many people into realizing the time to be 'polite' is over, and they are reclaiming this Christian country from the mockers and haters.

Absolutely correct! We battle not flesh and bones, but principalities of darkness!

I have been praying for a Revival for America and I pray for Sidney and Rudy and all the lawyers and the judges that hear the case and our President Trump.

Good vs. Evil.

Jesus vs. Satan.

Trump/Conservatives vs. Democrats/Everyone Else.

We must be in the Army Of Jesus. Very simple really.

The Bible says good will be seen as evil, and evil will be seen as good. Sounds exactly like what's happening today. Democrats act like abortion is a great thing, when it's actually the most evil thing that a person could possibly do. They're in the Army Of Satan.

I came back to Jesus not more than a year ago. Honestly, my fascination with the paranormal brought me back. To put it shortly, there is good and evil. Evil is real, and people worship it. The demons and the minions hate Jesus. I want to be on the side against them.

If you you want to read an truly excellent book about the western soul, and how Christianity reflects teh western soul. About hour commie bastards from the Frankfort school that created SJW leadership- are against the soul of man. Read the book the "Devil's Pleasure Palace" Truly EXCELLENT.

I've seen this revival coming for a long time. God wants unity, but not compromise from Christians. God always prevails

TheQuickening 5 points ago +5 / -0

There is a spiritual war going on of good vs evil.

If anything, I think everyone can see that now.

The masses are being lied to and have been lied to for some time. It's only now that everything is being dragged into The Light exposing it all.

HOLD THE LINE!

Based_psychologist 5 points ago +5 / -0

I’m seeing it too.

After being raised christian, I can't bring myself to believe the truth claims made in the bible, but Christians are my cultural and political allies and I support their right to congregate. We are going down an evil path, that much is plain to see.

Watch some talks by Frank Turek and / or Ravi Zacharias on YouTube and you will see that the Bible is perfectly consistent with rational thinking. Frank wrote a book called “I Dont Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist. Highly recommend

Still mourn the loss of Ravi. I remember after my mother left I had to ride with my father on his courier job. We would listen to Ravi everyday and it really hit me hard when he died. He really helped me when it felt like my life was over.

I think as you get older and experience the many perspectives in the world you realize that a lot of people don't really stand for anything. Their religion of self-indulgence is shallow and always fleeting. So you have to make a choice, to chase consumerism and whatever other -ism is trendy that year or to make a your own stand. That stand for me is rooted in the DNA of our country; the USA was founded on Christian tradition and beliefs by Christians for the purpose of religious freedoms and the inalienable rights granted us by God himself.

And while I might not be 100% convinced of the existence of God, the authenticity of the Bible, His laws and the prophecies, I still see the power in establishing a moral compass with Christianity as the guide, for myself and my family. At least then we stand for something inspiring, with a positive community of its own, and that our founders risked their lives to make sure we could practice openly.

It ain't perfect, but it's a start. God, family, country. If you don't fall for God you'll fall for anything.

I spent many years as a non-believer before coming home. The last 100-150 years show how well things go when entire societies stop believing in God, with the madness picking up huge steam in just the last ten years.

Freedom to be controlled by passions and appetites is not true freedom, it is slavery.

Dr. Scott is good, but if the female is ever on ignore her...

7
Groupthinkgroupthink [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

Haha, i'll check him out.

The older I get, the more it really seems there is a war between the morally good, and the willingly, morally corrupt.

3
clarkisland 3 points ago +5 / -2

Dr. Scott doesn’t really directly teach about morality. He’s more of a faith comes first, and God will give you moral clarity later. He died about 15 years ago and his wife pretty much ran everything into the ground, but there are streams of past sermons that are very interesting at times.

Well you are right. Jesus is calling for you to become Christian. He wants to wake people up and call all his followers to stronger.

This all started waaay back in the Garden of Eden. It's been a sorta "Cold War" for millennia. Now it's turning into a hot war.

Even for those that do not believe in Christ it’s becoming more and more obvious that evil is real. There is a war between good and evil on this earth and I can assure everyone here that we are on the right side of the battle!

The world is a better place when Christian values are the norm. They are intrinsic to our nations purpose and values, and go hand in hand with the ideology that produced this nation of nationalist patriots and freedom minded individuals. America is the city on a hill.

I'm Buddhist, with many Sikh coworkers who are very MAGA. Don't let the religious zealots ostracize us out of the right again or we'll be back into a dark age of communists running everything.

Have no fear.

When I read the title of this post, I thought that it should have read, our enemies are not human. They are powerful demonic forces.

I'm a very dedicated Christian. (I'm also autistic.) I've had a very hard life but GOD has always been there guiding me. I see my hard life as just a very demanding school that I'm attending to get the training I need to do my job. GOD through His Spirit has been teaching me many things. Right now, I have a task. I have some messages for the entire Christian church. I'm not the only one tasked with delivering these messages. These messages are to prepare Christians for battle. I will have other messages to deliver at some point.

You might be interested in hearing what the first few are.

The most important is to return to original principles. In Christianity, an idol is anything that we put between ourselves and GOD. My first message is to tell Christians to throw away their idols. Most Christians don't think they are carrying idols, but many are. The most common are hatred and tradition. Most Christians confuse the traditions of man with holiness. Many Christians speak love with their lips but still harbour hatred in their hearts. These are were religious zealotry is born. Disrespecting other faiths is not of GOD. I have a third idol in mind, but most of the Christian church is not ready to hear that yet.

Another message is that we must let the Love that flows from GOD, flow through us and into the world. If GOD's Love doesn't flow through us, it dies within us, then we die. Everything that comes out of our mouths and actions must be delivered on a carrier of love.

And my next message is that GOD is calling us to get ready for battle. Powerful demonic forces are at work. Christians need to accept that many of our brothers and sisters working to push back the darkness are going to be Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh, Jewish, and Muslim. Not just Christian. We only are able to understand a very small part of GOD's plan.

Btw, I have some good friends who are Buddhist and Hindu. I ask them a lot of questions. I like Buddhist thought. I even apply some of the principles I have learned in my life. I always clean my plate, eat every grain of rice. I think of this as a devotional act; showing respect.
