I got sick near the beginning of spring break, I think it was around March, and it was a small cold that lasted for about 2 days before going away completely.
I’m willing to bet $10 that the virus I had was COVID and my immune system kicked its ass.
Same here. Live in a household of 8 people and roommate came home from work and wasn't feeling well I went in and touched his forehead and I became sick within 2 hours...this same scenario played out with every member of the household. Sickness lasted 3 days flu like symptoms. I made the comment at the time I have never in my life had an experience with an illness that hit and spread so rapidly. I also made the comment it seemed like a weapon or the stories you hear about smallpox and the natives.. this was at end of December 2019.
Omg this thread is insane, the same thing happened to me! I got sick in February (west coast) and I commented "I haven't been this sick since I was a child!" and to the person I caught it from, "Whatever bug you had is super contagious!" Out for about 4-5 days. I also haven't been sick since but one reason I assumed was because I've been cooped up in my house so haven't been as exposed to germs. Wow!
I know my wife myself and 1 year old all got it end of January in California from my nieces friend (Italians) returned from abroad. Entire school got influenza? You know the flu. It’s sucked I ached and had a very deeeeewwp cough every once in awhile. Then it went away and here we are. This BS this has to end. We need to control the air waves in OUR COUNTRY !! Start spreading the news.
Where do you live, I am in Massachusetts, got something nasty in late Nov, early Dec 2019.
My daughter got the flu shot and bingo, her boys and I came down with something like the flu, but different. Super fast reaction to it, vomiting, long stays in the bathroom, slight fever, aches.
Symptoms lasted a week, but it took ten days additional days to work through it. I have had the flu, this was different, something almost weird about it.
I wondered afterwards if they may have used the flu shot to spread it?
Myself and a bunch of co workers swear we had rona in dec of 2019. Not one of us has been sick since...
