I just can't take anyone seriously in his video. It's not even the goofy codenames. It's the ranks.
The hand to hand training they showed is bullshit. You need to train BJJ and boxing if you want to have any shot at hand to hand. Against a knife, just fucking run. You're not going to pull off that slick takedown like he did.
Back to the ranks, you've got like 100 people max and you're calling yourself General. You're a Captain at best. Condense the rank structure and it's going to run smoother. I honestly wouldn't even use ranks. I'd have Team Leads that run in four man groups, I'd have another rank that lead four of the four man groups at a time, and then I'd have the Honcho on top of that little pyramid. Smooth, easy, no confusion.
These guys hearts are in the right place. If shit goes sideways, we'll be on the same side. But I could never be part of a group like this. Feels too much like roleplay.
Edit: I'd also enforce squad level radio communication. Radios are easy to get at wal-mart now. They'll plug right into some 40 dollar electronic ear pro. A few bucks more and you can get a mic if you don't want to do a throat mic.

I don't think it's necessary for Bob who wants a pistol to protect his house. But if you're going to get organized like this, the leader should impose a gun safety course. And if somebody goes "I ALREADY KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT GUNS! I DON'T NEED A GUN SAFETY COURSE!" Then you know you don't want him in the group because he's an asshole know it all.
