Well, the site soliciting for donations had been open for almost six months at this point, and this woman was using non-white emoticons in her more than one hundred comments, and
photos of black-owned businesses often accompanied by emojis and phraseology associated with black media activists,
never mentioning that she was a white woman. Thus being accused of digital blackface/digital cultural appropriation.
After the revelation, one person stated;
For days, I was speaking openly with you about a difficult issue that was affecting me as a Black person. At no point during our messages did you find an opportunity to say ‘I am actually white and I stand with you.
So it seems that there was a bit of obfuscation going on. Not fraud as I stated, but hardly the truth either. It appears that she purposely concealed her non-black identity, and only revealed her skin colour (blimey) when the fact that she is a caucasian was discovered. There was no mention that any monies collected were used for personal gain or did not go to "Independent Black Businesses"... the organization or charity for which she set up the account.
If she spreads enough cash around, everything will be just fine I'm sure.
And of course the backlash is racism. But that goes both ways, the racist black activists who don't respect their hapless allies, and these woke white women who treat black people as if they're incapable of helping themselves. It's the whole Lefty SWJ DNC-type platform of low expectations. And it's happening in western cultures the world-over. Not just countries with a racial history such as our own.
She might be one of those who fell into the bullshit of "one race, human race" and "don't see color" so she genuinely thought her being white was irrelevant.
